An educational world built around Dr. Ruth Diaz' DOT Model
The DOT Model Classroom is an educational world built for BridgeMakers, based on a conflict resiliency teaching model developed & taught by Dr. Ruth Diaz.
After 10 years of 2D limitations, Dr. Diaz worked with Nimzy to conceptualize the model in 3D, requiring a deep dive into the model itself on Nimzy’s part. The final build, completed in the span of 3 months, was a highly impactful teaching tool, and the realization of a 10 year long dream for Dr. Diaz.
BridgeMakers is a collaborative incubator empowering builders, leaders, and learners in social VR
They have created a support system for the people who build and lead virtual communities.
BridgeMakers envisions virtual reality communities that thrive on collaboration and resilience. By bridging gaps in leadership education for community leaders and world builders making dynamic community spaces, they aim to foster inclusive, transformative spaces where challenges become opportunities for innovation and growth.
A museum environment rebuilt and optimized for the RP1 WebXR framework
Nimzy worked alongside the Virtual Worlds Museum to rebuild an optimized version of an existing museum environment to be published within the RP1 framework. Optimization was key to the success of this project, as RP1 is a web-based framework.
You may visit the space by going here, then find the Virtual Worlds Museum Hub in the locations menu.
A digital museum archiving the history of virtual worlds.
The Virtual Worlds Museum's vision is to enrich knowledge, ignite interest, and provide information to those who seek to learn more about immersive worlds. This is accomplished by preserving the history of virtual worlds, clarifying terminologies through interactive Exhibits, and creating programs about immersive ecosystems.
As a proponent of upstanding XR practices, the digital museum also promotes ethical technological innovation and community building. The Virtual Worlds Museum serves as a hub for exploration of the ever-evolving virtual world landscape through various websites, immersive exhibits, Discord channels, and platform partnerships.
A pre-built EngageXR environment optimized for a smoother guest experience
Following the sudden onset of strange glitches due to platform quirks, Nimzy worked with Helen to further optimize the pre-built Foremother's Café through reorganization, IFX migration, and optimizing existing meshes. Nimzy continues to run general maintenance on the space when needed.
You may visit the space in EngageXR by using the persistent Session ID: 2a0K6
A VR Women's History Museum and Cultural Center founded by author Helen Erwin
The Foremothers Café is a Women's History Museum and Cultural Center in Virtual Reality, set in Lund, Sweden, in 1918. Inspired by the courageous women of early 20th-century Sweden and the world, the space honors their legacy of resilience, empowerment, and mutual support, while fostering a modern gathering place for creativity, dialogue, and connection.
They are a global community excited by the fact that in the Metaverse there are no borders, and they love bringing people together to celebrate culture, history, and community through art, cultural events, and engaging conversations.
A horror experience built for Pandemonium of Fear's virtual, live-actor Haunt
For the fun of building something outside of her usual theme and aesthetic, Nimzy built the Circus of Nightmares for Pandemonium of Fear, a group that does live, virtual haunts every October in VRChat. This project started with building custom environments to immerse guests in a haunt experience that accommodated live actors for added thrills.
The project eventually expanded to include complex, interactive elements that Nimzy designed using VRChat's node-based coding system. These elements provided fun interactions for guests (such as proximity-based teleportation and audio triggers, jump scares, and avatar resizing for fear-inducing immersion), and a higher level of moderation and function for the cast and crew.
Please Note: The Cherry Blossom area and the voice overs dispersed throughout the world were provided by Pandemonium of Fear and optimized/ incorporated into the project by Nimzy.
The first of its kind premiere VR Halloween experience
VRChat Group: FEAR23.9858
A passion project built to teach emotional intelligence & its effect on well-being
Nimzy formed a team with Tony Lopez and Imani Maya Woodward to build A VRChat experience that incorporates education with story, raising awareness about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal #3, "Good Health and Wellbeing."
This experience was a second level winner of the Metaverse for SDGs Global Prize & VR Competition.
The final product is a journey through an interactive, futuristic tale centered around Perrin Galloway.
As guests step into the experience, they witness an accidental invention that brings an unexpected burst of color into Perrin's dreary existence. Visit here to walk through Perrin's world and watch the story unfold around him as he discovers just what it is that he has invented and how he can use it․ You will intimately experience a story of hope where you will be reminded that life doesn't have to be gray‚ and that even just a little more awareness of the world around us can bring more color into our existence․
A series of VRChat event spaces built for the Vitality ReAwakened community
This series of worlds was created by Nimzy when Vitality ReAwakened, a community she founded in 2021, made the shift into VRChat as their main gathering place.
These worlds were each built with a specific event in mind (most of them held weekly), all geared towards bringing
an element of magic to the wellness journeys of those attending. During this time, Nimzy completed multiple environments that greatly expanded her world building and technical skills through production-led learning, and expanded her awareness of what a successful virtual event space requires.
These worlds have a higher level of interactivity programmed into them using VRChat's Udon system.
A community that taught alternative healthcare and personal development through VR
Vitality ReAwakened was a community founded by Nimzy in 2021 to support people in their wellness journeys, while also bringing a little magic to their lives.
This community, which is no longer actively expanding, ran regular events that were all centered on teaching accessible, alternative healthcare methods to the general public. From sound healing meditations, to time management talks, to role-playing games, Vitality ReAwakened covered a large ranges of topics that expanded community members' self-awareness and empowered them to take their wellness to the next level.

The earliest Nimzy builds, formerly found in AltspaceVR
This series of worlds, built for AltspaceVR where Vitality ReAwakened based all of their earliest events, were the start of Nimzy's career in 3D art.
All were meant for hosting regular, virtual events, and were her first attempts at bringing magic to the lives of those around her. This series included an RPG game world, a neon nightclub for live DJ events, a temple space for safe conversations about life and death, an aromatherapy education world, and other meaningful spaces meant to provide practical tools for improving well-being.
All were mostly static due to platform limitations, so Nimzy got creative with her designs to create interactivity using the limited resources at her disposal.
